Longing for home
From their exile, the people of Israel longed to return home. The church, in Lent, longs to end her exile and come home to God. We struggle to fit in, to find a home, not realizing that our true home is with Jesus Christ in Heaven. So as a church, we cry out to Mary, longing to become worthy to join her in heaven.

hello. i happened to be at your mass tonight and would like to hear or read your homily/sermon again. is it possible for you to post it? in a way it really struck me. i have never really felt like i had a home or fit in.
I don't have a written copy of my homily because I gave it from notes. Are you able to listen to the audio? If someone else asks for a copy I might type it up, but usually I don't.
