Love stronger than pain

It seems impossible that Jesus could suffer and die if he really were God, but what seems impossible to us isn't always impossible. We had dug a pit so deep that we could never climb out, and so Jesus comes to pull us out, and instead we pull him in. It seems like a disaster, but what seems like a disaster isn't always a disaster. God cannot count on our kindness so he made a plan that counted on our cruelty, even if that meant suffering on the cross. While Jesus is God, he is also like us afraid of suffering, but his love is stronger than the pain.
